Deployment

A checklist for your first deployment

What to settle before hubs reach patients' homes, so your first deployment answers the questions that matter to your organization.

1. Scope and decision

  • The decision this deployment should support: scale, extend to a new population, change your device pathway.
  • The number of patients and hubs, and the duration.
  • Success criteria agreed in advance, with a baseline.

2. People and roles

  • A lead on your side for operations, and one for the platform.
  • Who sets up hubs and devices in homes, and when.
  • Who patients call, and how issues are escalated.

3. Devices

  • Exact models confirmed compatible.
  • The devices each patient will use, and how they're supplied.
  • Simple instructions adapted to your patients.

4. Homes

  • Wi-Fi available at each home, and who prepares the connection.
  • Where the hub sits: near the devices and a power outlet.
  • What happens when a patient moves or changes internet provider.

5. Integration

  • Fields and patient association agreed and tested.
  • A test with real devices before the first patient goes live.
  • A way to see when expected readings don't arrive.

6. Measuring the result

  • Time spent onboarding each patient.
  • Connectivity-related support contacts.
  • Readings received compared with readings expected.
  • Feedback from patients and staff, and reasons for any drop-outs.
